Free Medical Day Supporting Displaced Families in Wadi Al-Zeina
Under the guidance of the Ministry of Public Health and with the support of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Al-Shifaa Medical and Humanitarian Services organized a free medical day at Al-Hayat Medical Center in response to the growing healthcare needs of displaced families in the area.
Key Services Provided:
Medical Consultations: Treatment of acute cases for children and adults, and follow-up for chronic diseases.
Women’s Health: Midwifery services and comprehensive women’s healthcare.
Psychosocial Support: Specialized sessions to help alleviate the stress of displacement and the impact of crises.
Medication & Awareness: Free distribution of medicines along with health education and guidance.
This initiative served as a vital support for both residents and displaced families, helping bridge critical healthcare gaps and ease the financial burden on affected households—while providing a safe space for treatment and psychosocial care amid the difficult conditions in Lebanon.
