Al-Shifaa Medical and Humanitarian Services expressed its deep pride in its fruitful partnership with UPEL, which stands as a leading example of humanitarian cooperation aimed at protecting children and strengthening the resilience of families in Shatila Camp.

Al-Shifaa places special focus on children and families, positioning them at the heart of its humanitarian mission through continuous efforts to:

• Provide emergency medical care for children when needed.

• Support families through guidance, assistance, and essential services.

In this context, the Director of the Union for the Protection of Juveniles in Lebanon (UPEL) emphasized the strength of the partnership with Al-Shifaa, noting that it represents a model for collaborative work in the camps. She stated:

“We are proud to stand alongside our partners at Al-Shifaa, who are among our most committed and distinguished partners in Shatila Camp. They are truly the backbone of child protection in our community. Whenever a child goes missing, requires urgent medical care, or families need direct support, Al-Shifaa is always the first to respond. This is what true partnership looks like—UPEL and Al-Shifaa staff working side by side, united in our mission to protect and serve children. In a time when trusted partners are rare, we are fortunate to work with Al-Shifaa, whom we consider the heroes our children deserve.”

Al-Shifaa concluded by reaffirming its commitment to continuing all possible efforts in collaboration with its partners, emphasizing that such partnerships are a cornerstone of its mission to protect children and serve the community.
