“Emergency and Trauma Care” Concludes Final Phase of MTCP Program in Lebanon with Realistic Simulation-Based Training
The final phase of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) in Lebanon concluded with a series of intensive trainings focused on Emergency and Trauma Care, equipping participants with critical practical skills that contribute to saving lives in humanitarian and medical contexts.
The training spanned a wide range of topics, from pain management in primary healthcare to effective response to emergency and trauma cases. It featured immersive clinical simulations that reflected real field challenges within the Lebanese context. Sessions combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on application, with a strong emphasis on making sound decisions under pressure.
This phase was distinguished by active knowledge exchange and experience-sharing between participants and trainers, adding a strong human dimension and team spirit to the learning environment. The program emphasized that preparedness goes beyond technical skills—it also requires initiative, solidarity, and effective teamwork.
As this phase comes to a close, efforts continue wherever needs arise, reflecting an ongoing commitment to strengthening medical and humanitarian response capacities across Lebanon.
