Training Collaboration Between Médecins Sans Frontières and Al-Shifaa to Strengthen Women’s First Aid Teams in Beirut
As part of ongoing efforts to support and enhance the skills of first aid teams, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) organized a specialized training session in collaboration with Al-Shifaa Association for Medical and Humanitarian Services – Beirut, targeting the Association’s women’s first aid team.
The session focused on managing emergency childbirth cases داخل ambulances and during patient transport. MSF trainers provided a comprehensive overview of the medical protocols required in such situations, alongside practical, hands-on training designed to improve the team’s performance and ensure the delivery of safe and timely care for mothers and newborns in emergency field conditions.
This collaboration comes within continuous efforts to strengthen the capacities of local medical and emergency personnel, and to improve the quality of services provided in sensitive and critical situations.
