"Emergency and Trauma Care" Concludes Final Phase of MTCP in Lebanon with Realistic, Life-Saving Training.
The final phase of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) in Lebanon concluded with a series of intensive trainings focused on Emergency and Trauma Care, equipping participants with vital, life-saving skills tailored to humanitarian and medical contexts.
The training ranged from pain management in primary healthcare to effective emergency and trauma response. It featured realistic clinical simulations that reflected on-the-ground challenges in the Lebanese context. Each session emphasized the integration of theoretical knowledge with hands-on application, enabling participants to make confident, informed decisions under pressure.
This stage was marked by a rich exchange of experiences and practical insights between participants and trainers, fostering both professional growth and a strong sense of human solidarity. The program underscored that readiness goes beyond technical skills—it is also about initiative, teamwork, and collective spirit.
As this phase concludes, the efforts continue—wherever the need arises—in a steadfast commitment to strengthening Lebanon’s emergency medical and humanitarian response capacities.
