In Emergencies, Every Second Counts: Day Two of ACLS Training under MTCP Focuses on Rapid Response in Critical Cases
The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) in Lebanon continues its intensive training activities, with the final day of the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course dedicated to strengthening essential practical skills in managing critical emergencies.
Day two featured advanced hands-on training, including airway management, the use of emergency medications during resuscitation, and realistic “megacode” simulations. These scenarios allowed participants to test their abilities in high-pressure environments that closely replicate real-life situations, where rapid response and accurate decision-making are crucial to saving lives.
These practical sessions aim to refine clinical skills, enhance teamwork, and build confidence among healthcare providers—particularly in resource-limited settings, where preparedness and efficiency are vital for effective emergency response.
