Training Collaboration Between Médecins Sans Frontières and Al-Shifa Association to Enhance the Capabilities of Female First Aid Teams in Beirut.
As part of ongoing efforts to support and develop the skills of first aid teams, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) organized a specialized training session in collaboration with Al-Shifa Association for Medical and Humanitarian Services – Beirut, targeting the association’s female first aid team.
The training focused on how to manage emergency childbirth cases inside ambulances and during patient transport. The MSF team delivered a detailed explanation of the medical protocols required in such situations, along with hands-on practical training aimed at strengthening the team’s competencies and ensuring safe and swift care for mothers and newborns in field emergencies.
This collaboration reflects a continued commitment to building the capacity of local medical and emergency response personnel and improving the quality of care provided in critical and sensitive conditions.
