Launch of Basic Life Support (BLS) Training under the MTCP Program in Lebanon
A specialized training course in Basic Life Support (BLS) has been launched in Lebanon as part of the 2025 Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP), within the framework of joint efforts to enhance medical emergency response capacities.
The course aims to equip healthcare providers and emergency response teams with essential life-saving skills through hands-on training based on realistic simulations. These include scenarios involving infants, children, adults, and cases of choking.
This training module has been prioritized due to its critical importance in enabling frontline workers to respond quickly and effectively—especially in resource-limited settings where time is a decisive factor in saving lives.
