Japan launches two clinics at Al-Shifa Association for Medical Services - Al-Bared Medical Center

Thursday, July 13, 2023, the Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Magoshi Masayuki, inaugurated two clinics at Al-Bared Medical Center of the Al-Shifa Association for Medical and Humanitarian Services.
Through the National Assistance Program for Human Security, the ear, nose and throat clinic was equipped with an ENT UNIT, and the sonography department with an ULTRASOUND MACHINE.
The speech of the ceremony was delivered by Dr. Magdi Karim, Executive Director of the Al-Shifa Association, where he pointed out and praised the importance of the association and its efforts over more than 15 years, as it has a vital role in providing health care services to the most disadvantaged and needy groups, especially women, children and the elderly.
The Japanese ambassador affirmed Japan's unwavering commitment to continue its support for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon through humanitarian and development initiatives aimed at alleviating the burden of social and economic difficulties affecting their livelihoods.
The Japanese ambassador hoped for brighter and more stable days for both the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples.
This assistance will ensure accurate diagnosis and raise the quality of medical services provided to the community.
At the end of the ceremony, Al-Shifa presented an honorary plaque as a token of thanks and appreciation to the Japanese ambassador, followed by cutting the ribbon for the inauguration of the new departments.
Then the ambassador and the audience toured the clinic and got acquainted with the most important health facilities.
Hence, we thank the Embassy of Japan in Lebanon, the Japanese people and the National Assistance Program for Human Security Projects for their continuous support.
We also hope that the support of the health sector in Lebanon will continue to ensure that everyone has access to the necessary treatments, especially the communities most in need.
